The Power Of The Dollar El álbum es considerado por 50 Cent's como "puro" hip-hop, ya que él estaba envuelto en el mundo criminal durante su grabación.

En el tema "How to Rob", menciona a muchas figuras de la industria musical, y cómicamente explica como él les roba. Raperos como Jay-Z, Big Pun, DMX, afiliados de Wu-Tang Clan y The American Cream Team contestan a la canción.^[1] The track was intended to be released with "Thug Love" featuring Beyoncé Knowles, but two days before he was scheduled to film the "Thug Love" video, 50 Cent was shot and had to be confined to a hospital due to his injuries.^[2] The track, "Ghetto Qu'ran", has been speculated to be the reason for his shooting.^[3]
